My Friend the Philanthropist

I have worked with some great people in my career and developed friendships after working together. Broadcasting has afforded me that; writing about people has also afforded me that. But no one has touched the landscape of philanthropy in my personal space quite like Rush Harding has. I first became aware of the GIANT Rush is almost 20 years ago. My husband and I worked with a 501(c)(3) organization that provided scholarships to financially needy youth in the inner city. Rush brought his A game, like he always does, and contributed as much as we needed. He is a man from humble beginnings who has given almost half of his personal wealth away with his charitable giving. He and his wife Linda are so generous and love so many organizations. I am proud to call the two of them friends.
