The Simplicity of Sous Vide Cooking

Sous vide is a fun and fail-proof way to prepare meats, vegetables and even fruits. I got started by buying the immersion circulator from Williams-Sonoma and I splurged on the vacuum sealer from Target. Anova and Sansaire are two reliable brands. Have fun with it and try the cheapest meats you can find and use the sous vide technique. Even the cheapest cuts of meat are fork tender and delicious, once you sear the meat, that you may never go back to conventional cooking! My husband will even put brisket in the smoker for a few hours to get the smoke flavor and then use the sous vide to finish the cooking process. And it’s another 24 hours in the sous vide. Some even do it for 48 hours! But it’s worth it.
